I have so difficult to write these “About Me” pages. It is hard to summerize who you are in just one page. But here we go…

My name is Alan Onati and I am 34 years old. I work as a translator and you can understand then that one of my biggest passions is languages. And one of the languages I love is French.

I choosed to read french as my third language in the senior compulsory school and have never stopped studying that since then. And I now work as an french, english and swedish translator.

After getting married two years ago I managed to convince my wife to learn so that she could travel to France with me every year without feeling like tourists. After searching everywhere on the internet for quality advice & French lessons, we found some good information and documented all the things my wife learned. So we started to research the steps of learning French efficiently, and after months of work, compiled everything we knew into this one site.

While speakhefrench.com will not take you to the point of French fluency, You’ll see the french language products I used, the methods I practiced, and the stumbles I make a long the way.

I like to think of this site as all my findings of everything possible around the web in regards to the french language. I don’t consider myself as an expert at everything, but I do know how to speak french fluently and can  help people the best way I can.
